Repair or Replace?

A major appliance breaking down is no fun for anyone.  It’s stressful, inconvenient, and flat-out annoying If you add in the challenges of the pandemic, it can make things feel even worse!

If you find your fridge not cooling or hear your washer howling like a wolf or shaking like an undeveloped Polaroid Picture, you’ll want to address the situation as quickly as possible.  The demand for service has remained high since the beginning of the pandemic and with factory backorders on certain parts and appliances, the wait time could be weeks or even months!

Many times we get the proverbial question, “Would you repair or replace?”.  Unfortunately there is often no clear answer to this without first looking at the unit.  Sometimes it can be as simple as a blown fuse or as complex as a failed control board.  Regardless of the issue, we can never be 100% sure without first looking at the appliance.  If you are uncertain or lack the technical skills to diagnose an appliance, leave that task to us.  Our appliance repair technicians are factory trained and certified and with their deep knowledge base they can accurately diagnose a problem and give you their analysis.

We service all major appliance brands and have several suppliers that give us access to hundreds of thousands of appliance parts that can be delivered directly to our store in Henrietta in the Genesee Valley Regional Market.

Our minimum diagnostic fee will cover the technician’s time to give a full analysis of your machine and ensure that you are as well-informed as possible about the issue and ensuing options.  This diagnosis is an economical way to make you feel confident when making the choice of repairing or replacing an appliance.
